The Role

As a Nursery Practitioner, you’ll play a key role in delivering outstanding care and education for children, creating a warm, engaging environment where every child feels safe, supported and encouraged to reach their full potential.

Working as part of a friendly and experienced team, you’ll help plan stimulating activities, monitor children’s progress and build strong relationships with parents and carers to ensure every child receives the very best start in life.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care and education in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Plan and support engaging, age-appropriate learning and play activities.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, carers and colleagues.
• Observe, assess and record children’s learning and developmental progress.
• Promote children’s safety, wellbeing and safeguarding at all times.
• Create and maintain a clean, stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
• Support children’s emotional, social and educational development.
• Work collaboratively with the wider nursery team to provide exceptional childcare.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic, caring and committed to providing outstanding Early Years education.

You will have:

• A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years (essential).
• Previous experience working within a nursery or childcare setting.
• Good knowledge of the EYFS framework.
• A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A warm, caring and positive approach.
• A genuine passion for helping children learn, develop and flourish.
